This Glow Plug Tester can be used to make fast diagnosis of glow plug failure or degradation without the need to disassemble the glow plug from the engine. This device is suitable only on any 12V DC vehicle system. The six LEDs on the panel Indicate the status of the glow plug under test and also whether the vehicle battery contains enough charge to power the glow plug. A must have tool for any workshops and mehcanics to test spark plugs quickly and efficiently.

Operation Instructions

Disconnect leads/busbar from the glow plugs to be tested.
Connect the red clip of the instrument to the positive(+) battery terminal and the black clip to an earth point on the engine.
Press the test probe (the metal part) onto the glow plug terminal.
Observe which one of the LEDs is illuminated

Higher than 16A but in more than 3 seconds = Fault

OK: Glow plug is OK

<7A: Defective (high resistance) glow plug

scissor: Defective (open circuit) glow plug

<10.5V: Vehicle battery is low so that the Glow Plug Analyser will not function correctly
