How long does an Autel software subscription last?

Each renewal gives you 12 months of official Australian software updates for your selected Autel tool.

How long does activation take?

We activate renewals within 1–2 business days of receiving your tool's serial number. We'll email you as soon as it's done, and you can then download the updates over Wi-Fi.

Where do I find my Autel serial number?

On most Autel tablets, go to Settings > About to see the serial number. It's also printed on the label on the back of the tool or VCI and on the original box.

Do I need to send my tool to you?

No. The renewal is activated online using your serial number, so your tool stays with you the whole time.

What happens if I don't renew my Autel subscription?

Your tool keeps working with the software already installed, but you won't receive new vehicle coverage, functions or fixes. Over time, newer vehicles may not be fully supported.

My subscription has already expired. Can I still renew?

Yes. Select your model, check out and send us your serial number, and we'll activate a new 12-month subscription.

Can I renew a tool I bought somewhere else?

Yes, as long as it's an Australian-market Autel tool. Send us the serial number before ordering if you're unsure and we'll confirm it's eligible.

Will this work on a tool bought overseas?

Our renewals are Australian software for Australian-market tools. If your tool was bought overseas, contact us with the serial number before ordering so we can check it first.
