This is a great little unit especially for the price, I purchased the wifi unit to ensure my Bluetooth was free for audio, etc. Connection and set up was super easy, I use the this in conjunction with the Car Scanner app and this is basically real time transmission of data to the app on my phone. I've set up a custom dashboard for what I wanted to monitor and works a treat.

Using with car scanner by Ovz. My car is healthy so I use it to monitor temps, engine load, volts, fuel use, gps speed, etc etc. The Wifi scanner is a must for me so I can listen to audiobooks but if I'd kept a old phone I'd might have gone Bluetooth since it has more app support. I've done off road and the scanner hasn't fallen out, so it's plugin and forget it's even there.

After doing my research I determined I wanted a scanner system where I was not restricted by a cable to the vehicle and that could have a large display so I could clearly see the information. So I settled on the AXW with Wifi and a computer monitor ( which can be any size I want ) fitted ( for portability ) with a small Intel PC on a stick which comes with a Windows 10 operating system onto which I installed OBD Auto Doctor software. The installation and connection was straightforward and it works just as I had hoped. I can have the car outside, so there is no possibility of build up of fumes if the car is running and I can put the display wherever I want. I have also installed the OBD Auto Doctor mobile on a windows phone we have, which is OK for quick checks but for any real analysis and displaying graphs the monitor is great. You can also save and print results if needed. Being a novice at this,I have only run basic features of the software but whatever I have tried, this arrangement appears to be able to handle and comes up with what I consider is a really professional result.

Works as described & very easily connects via WiFi to my Andriod Mob.Ph via downloaded app "Torque (Lite) - OBD CHECK" I'm not likely to use all the functions it provides even via Torque (lite) app. However it provided functionality in reading/finding faults which was my primary concern when I purchased it, so as to run a scan on a 2nd hand car I was buying.
