Great product was able to scan for faults ,see live transmission and engine sensor data, do a throttle reset and transmission learning reset. Read any dpf related data and diagnose the health of the dpf and do a manual burn. Vehicle was a 2007 ns pajero

As promised by AZscanners the scan tool delivered on its claims for my Gen IV Mitsubishi Pajero diesel. I'm able to check all sub systems not just OBD-II engine data. I particularly bought this tool to carry out the 'Small Quantity Fuel Learn'. One very surprising find was the ability to interrogate all systems on a 2002 Mitsubishi Pajero IO with the 4G94 engine as it's not OBD-II compliant. In the past I could only use Windows based EVOScan to monitor the ECM. The tool will also diagnose Nissan vehicles. I would highly recommend purchasing from AZscanners over, say, Aliexpress because you are guaranteed it will do what they say plus they have received excellent reviews.

Reviewed many scanner, many cheaper and many more costly. The i705 au specs suited my purpose for analysing fault warnings and codes. It is capable of programing and service functions but at extra cost of downloading the program. I have both Mitsubishi and Nissan vehicles so this unit was ideal. It is not a cheapy nor an overly expensive unit. It is a stand alone scanner with a built in screen. It is easy to use as long as you have a little computer experience and most prompts are self explanatory. The manual is online download which is both useful and annoying as i am old school and prefer to use a hard copy requiring me to print the manual off. In the big scheme a minor issue. Th functions are numerous and so far i have only explored a few. It is a very managible size not being so big it is cumbersome nor so small it is not easy to handle on the job. Overall very happy with the cost and performance. Suits me very well. Well priced represents value for money for me.

I bought the Mitsubishi and Nissan scanner to do an injector relearn after replacing the suction control valve on my 3.2 diesel Triton. It works well but only after quite a few goes was I able to get the injector relearn to work. Triton is running really well now but the parameters must be exactly right. No fault codes are to be present the engine temperature needs to be in range, no air con or other items on etc. The guys at AZscanners were helpful at responding to my questions. Once you know how to do it I recommend writing it down and putting the instructions in the box with the scanner, that’s what I did. Other than that it does what it says and I will be doing injector relearns every 15000km as per the manufacturer guidelines now I have figured out how and have my own instructions. Triton runs great and fuel economy is improved.

First use has paid for itself already, I did the Small injector quantity learning, the Supply pump correction learning, the Battery current sensor calibration & cleared a couple of codes. And, there are still heaps more procedures that i705AU can do. Once I got the Triton to the temperatures that these procedures require there was not one single issue. 10 out of 10 AZScanners & Vident for making this great little Scan tool available.

Arrived fast & undamaged. Used only once so far. This Vident i705au seems to cover everything available on my 2007 Ns Pajero exceed Di-D Auto & has allowed me to do an SQL (small quantity learn) Abs asc traction control and other system checks already. Highly recommended for the price & features!

Does everything it is advertised to do. Bought it for a 2002 Pajero as they use MUT3 and not OBD protocols and it works perfectly fine. Obviously does not do everything you can on a newer vehicle but thats not why I bought it. Also works on my daughters 2008 Nissan Micra, actually does more with hers as it is OBD2 compliant.

Snapon does have a more comprehensive user manual but still not all is covered. The good news is that all the aftermarket scan tools are following the same or very similar menus and the procedures to perform the functions are also very similar so I would recommend that you look online on YouTube or join an online forum(s) focusing on your vehicle model to try to find the possible reasons behind the issue/ find a solution. Car was put in for a service at garage, Engine oil was over filled by 3L to the high mark on dip stick when running. After taking it back the shop 3 times with a different code each time, I gave up. Abs fault no code, Blocked DPF and codes P0638, P0122. Engine over run when ignition off. DPF pressure difference at 17.6psi. Replaced MAF sensor, Clear all codes and run dpf regen, works a treat. Invincible!!!!!!!!!

the Vident i705 Au worked very well, you cant do everything on the EVO X such as ADC,AYC priming , but you could calibrate most parts and fault find, so excellent for the DIY mechanic.

I have 2 different units. Both are very easy to use. One unit i can put 5 x different brands on it, holden ford soon ill add bmw plus 2 more as i need them . And the 705 has Mitsubishi and Nissan only as these 2 hold alot of information. Highly recommend any of these scanners to anyone who wishs to diy their own vehicles or friends. So far have had great success
