Modern cars have complex electronics and are totally dependent on their battery to operate. These are not charged in the same way as in older cars. It's more of a battery maintenance system. I've recently bought a pre owned four wheel drive and didn't like the prospect of being remotely stranded. So I needed a portable jump starter as a backup. Researching these I found many for sale on numerous sites and locations at prices that seemed excessive for known brands or very cheap advertised on Amazon, E bay and other volume online sites. However rather than taking a chance with the unproven for such a device that needs to be absolutely reliable when you need it I decided to look on AZ Scanners website as I bought a OBD11 scanner from them and was very pleased with not only the product but the wonderful customer service experience I had. This Topdon portable jump starter not only is a high quality product it combines the jump starter capability of 2200 amps plus a very efficient compressor, a bright work light and flashing emergency lighting as well.
