Check The Communication Signals: Verify the communication signals prior to linking your valuable scan tools. Utilize the GT100+ OBDII Breakout Box to ensure proper network communication or to confirm the correct supply of power and grounds to the box assembly. Without adequate power or grounds, there's a risk of damaging your expensive scan tools.
ECU Electronic Voltage & Current Display: Connecting the ECU module through the Banana interface or the DB25 cable allows an intuitive view of the ECU's current and voltage display. This setup offers an easy assessment of cable connectivity and the ECU module's condition.
CANBUS Protocol Communication: The GT100+ utilises Pin 1, 9, 3, 11, 12, 13, 8 (corresponding to the yellow banana connector on the tool) for non-standard OBD2 protocol interface. This configuration can display the CAN BUS or K-Line communication protocol. GT100 showcases CANBUS, K-Line, PWM, VPW+, and KWP 2000 protocol communications.
ECU Power Assistance During Battery Replacement: Using GT100+ OBDII Breakout Box and auxiliary battery to sustain the power supply to the vehicle before replacing the battery, which will ensure that the car has fully power to prevent data loss and audio lock-up or the malfunction due to lack of power to the ECU control module.
Short Circuiting of Pins: Use the GT100+ to short-circuit banana plug connector to lit up the dashboard. In addition, you can also connect with some test platform (e.g. : CASA) to program keys.
Connects to Multiple ECU's Modules: The GODIAG GT100 can not only be connected to a single ECU module for single-module diagnosis and programming, but is also capable of connecting multiple ECU control modules at the same time. You can connect the ECU with the colour jumpers. (If the ECU is CAN protocol, please check whether you will need to connect a 120 ohm resistor.)
Convert to OBD2 Interface: It can convert the car OBD2 interface into 16 pin for signal detection and electrical level conversion. Use the connector to convert the OBD1 interface into OBD2 interface according to the diagnostic interface communication protocol.
