Not what’s expected for paying 300 dollars I wouldn’t really recommend buying this product as its a bit slow with some things especially when trying to exit out of something not recommended at all

It's been a good bit of gear for me. I've activated police mode, cleared the SRS light, and read and cleared codes since owning the Videnti400. It has saved me money and gotten me out of trouble a few times, recently with my gearbox playing up a fair few hundred kilometres from home. I cleared the gearbox slipping code and it allowed me to get my car home safe, as clearing it temporarily fixed it, giving me 4th gear back. I also recently recalibrated my speedometer to suit 3.46 diff gears in my '04 VY. However, the scan tool only changes the dash settings to read correctly - it'll still need to be changed in the PCM tune file to match, and the shift points will also need adjusting in the tune. But no complaints from me - very good tool for the price. I don't know how I lived without it.

Plugged scanner into VY to clear an SRS error. Super easy and way quicker to use than expected. Extremely happy with the purchase. It was pre loaded for Holden so worked straight out of the box.

I400au is greate I was able to scan my vs l67, VT Commodore, Holden redao an a Holden frontera I would have given 5 stars but the online set up was a bit of a hassle an still haven't been able to do it but still can scan all the cars I need straight out of the box

My son was quoted $370 to remove abs light on his 2000 VT Commodore so I bought the i400au for Holden and cleared his abs light.Did a scan on my VY S V8 and it showed a current/history code for iat high resisistance...Found the iat sensor was unplugged. So I won again. Highly recomend.

This tool has completely and utterly saved my ass, I fried my BCM in my 02 VU Ute so I got a secondhand one and had a linking issue with the ECU and it programmed to my ECU with ease, cleared my SRS light after changing the clock spring! Car runs like a dream after not having it running for a year because I couldn’t find a BCM without paying $600 plus for one on the internet that still needed programming anyway.. if you’re hesitant like I was, don’t be.

This scanner does exactly what it says it does. Allows me to programme keys and diagnose any faults in my VT commodore. I was in need of a scan tool to diagnose two VS Holden commodores. The scan tool delivered clear and accurate valuable information, Simple and straight forward to use and operate. On both vehicles I was able to get to bottom of both engine and airbag issues. Being able to print the displayed information was a big plus for me. The cost of this scan tool is reasonable when considering its capability. Other makes and models are covered through the purchase of additional soft ware, this can get expensive if you are trying to cover a large range of vehicles. Overall a great product.

These are a great little scan tool lots of features for the price. I already have one and have added 5 more car makes to it and also used a 32gb micro sd card. The only problem i have had with it which i contacted Vident is that on Holden VE>2009>Service>Adaptions>Fuel Trim Reset is that i get a can bus off error the Stability ESP off light comes on the dash, it will sometimes take 9 minutes to enter Fuel Trim Reset which the Trim percentages say -2600% and -34% i dont know if this is a scan tool software compaitibility issue or something else, i have a hikeit throttle controller attached ( dont know if thats interferring ) when i scan for codes i get a can bus off in ECBM, other than that it works perfect, would recommend to anyone looking for a full function scan tool for a cheap price, its a great starting point for car enthusiant but who i am to say im getting a collection of scan tools now. I still give this scan tool apart from the problem it has with my car 5 stars. Keep up the good work AZ Scanners.

I have recently purchased a Vident i400 for use on a VX commodore. I wasn't sure just how reliable this unit would be with the earlier Holden protocols, but I was actually pleasantly surprised. It connects quickly, it uses the now standard diagnostic protocol's and works through each page quickly, so far I have not suffered a complete lock up which I frequently experience on other brands of scanner on European vehicles, so I am very happy with the product and personally I feel it is good quality, very well priced.

Bought this it does what it’s meant too, added another 4 car makes and a 32gb sd card. Still like Autel better though. Undecided whether to keep this or move it on. It’s good value for money and a great starting point for a DIY Mechanic. The add on car makes are $60 USD on the Vident account, so a little pricey. Hope this review helps someone decide on this scan tool. Great communication from AZ Scanners too.

Came preinstalled with Holden software and easily connected to a VT Commodore. The i400 is a good diagnostic tool with many features including testing fuel injectors, various solenoids, and relays. I read the fault codes easily and cleared them. I also ran the various test to check if all the components are functioning normally. I then re-linked the ecu with the PCM and the VT is now more responsive and so far it has not stalled while being driven or while idling.

Bought scanner as mechanic couldn't find what was causing a shudder that recently developed in my car. Plugged scanner in and found issue straight away. Problem is fixed and never relying on mechanic again.
