Professional Ignition Coil & Spark Signal Testing – Safe, Fast & Accurate

The Hantek HT25 Auto Ignition Probe is a high-voltage attenuating probe designed for safely measuring secondary ignition waveforms using an automotive oscilloscope.

It allows technicians to analyse ignition coil performance, spark duration, burn time and firing voltage without direct contact with high-voltage components — reducing risk while delivering accurate waveform readings.

If you are diagnosing misfires, weak spark, ignition coil breakdown or intermittent ignition faults, the HT25 provides clear waveform visibility that scan tools alone cannot deliver.

The HT25 probe assembly includes three main components: a BNC connector for direct connection to your oscilloscope, an inductive pickup clamp for capturing secondary ignition signals, and an integrated attenuator module.

The built-in attenuator reduces high ignition voltage (up to tens of thousands of volts) to a safe measurable level, protecting the oscilloscope from electrical damage.

⚠ Important: The pickup clamp must not be connected directly to the spark plug terminal. It should be clamped around the insulated spark plug wire to safely capture the ignition signal and prevent electrical shock or insulation breakdown.
