FAQs & Support

Will this work on my car?

Most OBD-II readers cover engine codes on petrol (2006+) and diesel (2007+) vehicles in AU. For ABS/SRS/transmission and deeper functions, check the “Vehicle Coverage” on each product page.

Do I need a bi-directional scanner?

Bi-directional tools let you run active tests (e.g., fan, pump, solenoids) and perform adaptations—ideal for workshops or advanced DIY. If you only need code read/clear and basic live data, an entry-level tool is fine.

What service resets can these tools do?

Look for oil, EPB, SAS, DPF and BMS in the “Service Functions” list. Entry-level tools may handle a subset; pro tablets cover more models and procedures.

Are software updates included?

Many pro tablets include an initial update period. After that, optional renewal extends coverage to newer models/features. See the “Updates” info on each product page.

Returns, warranty & support

Genuine units with AU warranty. If you’re unsure a tool suits your vehicle, ask us before purchase—we’ll recommend the right fit. See our returns page for policy details.

Not sure which model to pick?

Tell us: 1) vehicle make/model/year, 2) jobs you need (e.g., DPF regen, injector coding), 3) budget. We’ll shortlist options quickly.
